Offer your clients ages 40 to 79 an exceptional combination of guaranteed protection with sum insured up to $50,000 in Specialty Life Insurance's Guaranteed Protection Plan. Under Guaranteed Protection Plan, applicants can qualify instantly for coverage as long as they meet the eligibility criteria for the plan.

There are no medicals or health questions required for full coverage, and a policy may be issued the same day as your client applies.

There are two requirements to qualify for up to $50,000 in coverage under Guaranteed Protection:

  1. Your client is aged 40 to 79; and
  2. Your client has a permanent Canadian address, as evidence of Canadian residency.

Your client may be eligible to buy this policy even if:

  • Your client has been deferred, postponed, or declined insurance for any reason;
  • Your client has past health issues that would lead to a deferral or decline under traditional plans; or
  • Your client is a newly landed immigrant or otherwise not a Canadian citizen

Your clients can apply for $1,000 and up to $50,000 of coverage without any health questions.

During the first two years of coverage, the policy benefit is equal to the sum of all premiums paid plus 3% simple interest. After this two year period, full benefits are payable equal to the sum insured.

Guaranteed acceptance - There is no medical underwriting, ensuring all applicants who meet the age and residency requirements are covered.

Coverage up to $50,000 - Industry-leading coverage amounts give your clients the flexibility to cover liabilities with a tax-free death benefit.

No citizenship required - The life insured needs to be a permanent Canadian resident to qualify, making this plan a suitable fit for applicants without Canadian citizenship or who are proceeding on the path to Canadian citizenship.

Instant issue - Specialty Life Insurance's fast application process can be completed entirely online, and you can provide your applicants with an issued policy in as little as one business day.

Premiums for coverage are determined by the applicant’s gender, date of birth, smoking status and coverage amount selected.

Premiums are not guaranteed and may be adjusted based on our expected experience for that risk group, but not more frequently than once in a twelve month period.
